Roman Kryklia was brought into the world in the city of Krasnograd, Kharkov district, Ukraine. At six years of age he started preparing at the games club "Burovik." His mentor at the time was Valentin Nikolaevich Kozhushko. With the club "Burovik", Kryklia started to battle at the Ukrainian Kenpokai Karate and Kickboxing titles, among youngsters and youth, and won various decorations.

In 2008 in the city of Lutsk he turned into the young boss of Ukraine in kickboxing and got the title of Master of Sports in Kickboxing. Since 2008 he has started to prepare in the city of Kharkiv, at the club "Maximus," with mentor Maxim Nikolaevich Kiyko and the celebrated Kharkov boxing coach Victor Nikolaevich Demchenko. During his examinations at the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University, he shielded the honor of the University at the Kickboxing Championship of Ukraine among understudies for a very long time (2012–2015 years), and he positioned first. He was the silver Thai Boxing hero of Ukraine among novices in the city of Odessa (2010). Presently with more than 50 expert challenges to his name, Kryklia has contended all over Europe and Asia, winning different world titles. He is known for his actual perseverance, having been successful in various one-night competitions, with his special blend of stature, reach, and speed driving him to knockouts in the greater part of his successes.
